Each year, we hold a number of spaces in the delegates’ programme for partners to present artists directly. These opportunities require a buy in and enable partners to work directly with our team on artist selection, without going through the formal open call process.
These partnerships can also be used for those organisations wanting to reach our delegates directly about their products or services. They do not necessarily need to include an artist showcase.
Each year, we present artists from up to four different countries or territories to our delegates and in the public programme. Our international partnerships are incredibly well supported and valued by our delegates with almost all international artists presented over the past decade returning to work in the UK as a direct result of the showcase.
Previous partners have included partners from Sweden, Flanders (BE), Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Hungary, Prince Edward Island (CA), South Korea, Denmark and more.
It’s also possible for labels, booking agents, sector advocacy organisations and others to reach our delegates through a dedicate showcase or reception.
These events are tailored to meet an organisation’s requirements, but as a guide they are usually 2 hours in length and showcase 3 artists. Examples of past partner events include a Black Lives in Music panel discussion and artist showcase, a booking agency presenting artists from their roster, music businesses providing networking space whilst presenting their services or making announcements.
