This privacy policy sets out how English Folk Expo uses and protects any information that you give English Folk Expo when you use this website.

English Folk Expo is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

English Folk Expo is a business to business organisation and do not intentionally market to the public. Only members of the music industry may attend or benefit from our events and activities.

English Folk Expo may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25/05/18.

What we collect
We may collect the following information:
• Email address when signing up to our mailing list
• Email address, phone number, photograph, biography, company information, dietary information, affiliated website address. This is collected when you are attending our annual conference and subject to your permission will be included in our delegate contact lists, in our brochure and App. This information is shared with artists, delegates and stakeholders for the purposes of business to business networking and development. We will not publish this information without your permission.
• Bank details are collected if we are offering you a travel bursary to attend our events.

What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to keep you informed of our annual showcase conference English Folk Expo and other relevant industry activities, we may also use it for:
• Internal record keeping.
• We may use the information to improve our products and services.
• We may periodically send promotional emails about new artists, events or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. We never send more than two marketing emails per month.

Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Specifically we store this information with MailChimp or in our bespoke secure delegate booking site.

How we use cookies
