In 2020, English Folk Expo applied to Arts Council England for a large programme of activity which could offer paid work and support to a sector decimated by the pandemic.
The Rebuilding Folk programme produced our Folk Talk Academy online resource for anyone building a career in the music industry.
It delivered 15 concerts across England and created more than 25 virtual showcase films which have been presented at international events including IMX China and Folk Alliance International.
Now the independent evaluation has been published showing the true impact of the project.
