Angeline Morrison is a folk singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, educator and researcher. Her current project to re-story the UK’s black history into folk song, and to experiment with what a UK version of Spirituals might sound like, is funded by Arts Council England, FEAST Cornwall, and The EFDSS. Album ‘The Sorrow Songs: Folk Songs of Black British Experience’ is scheduled to launch in October 2022.
