David has worked within the education and learning sector for over 25 years. As a teacher, lecturer and now as head of Heritage Learning Lancashire. He has been responsible of creating the Folk in Schools programme working with a range of artists, using the folk arts to explore identity, cohesion, sense of place, tradition, literacy, numeracy, music and dance. David also runs DeBrocas Learning supporting the development of folk education, learning and artist progression.
