Angie Rance is a music agent at leading global talent and entertainment company, United Talent Agency (UTA). She is based in UTA’s London office.
Angie has gradually built her roster of post-classical, instrumental/electronic, folk, roots, indie and singer-songwriter acts such as Nitin Sawhney, Penguin Cafe, Richard Thompson, Sam Lee, Rachel Sermanni and Declan O’Rourke.
Angie joined The Agency Group as an assistant in 2013. The company was acquired by UTA in 2015. She has since been promoted twice, first to Coordinator (in 2017) and more recently to Agent (in 2019).
Prior to UTA, Angie worked at Quest Management (now Maverick) on artists such as Lucy Spraggon, James Arthur and at IMG Artists on classical artists such as Leif Ove Andsnes and Thomas Dausgaard. Angie’s first placement in the music industry was an internship at The Philharmonia Orchestra.
In 2010 Angie co-founded alt-folk band Patch & The Giant, and continues to play (accordion, trumpet, vocals), manage, book and record with the band.
Angie graduated from Cardiff in 2006 with a joint degree in Music and Philosophy, having focussed on performance (trumpet).
